Dr. Disha Patel received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and earned her medical degree as Doctor of Medicine from St. Georges University in Grenada, West Indies.
Dr. Patel went on to complete her residency training in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital – North Shore LIJ in New York, New York. After completing her residency, she worked as a Hospitalist at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, New York from 2010-2011. From there, she went on to completing a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at JFK Hospital – Seton Hall University in Edison, NJ.
Dr. Patel specializes in Internal and Sleep Medicine, with an additional focus on each of the different sleep disorders including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Restless Legs Syndrome and Insomnia, and how they may contribute to your overall health and other illnesses such as Hypertension, Diabetes and Heart Disease.
